•  Weight bearing structures starting with foundation techniques, and primary construction, using steel, concrete, bricks, aluminium, glass etc. and drainage and rain water systems

 

• roof, facade and exterior cladding/finishing: lead, zinc and copper; outdoor woodwork; insulation: roof covering etc.

 

• indoor finishing: plastering and plasterboard, ceilings, dividing walls, floors and cement flooring

 

• techniques: ventilation, heating and air conditioning, solar energy and sun blinds, water treatment and purification, electricity and domotics, lifts, sanitaryware, acoustic insulation, communication

 

• material research: chemistry and building, special techniques e.g. acoustics

 

• paints and adhesives: paints for building, decorative paints, paints and varnishes, wood treatment products, coatings in powder or spray form, anti-corrosion treatments, adhesives, paint strippers, damp-proofing and fillers

 

• wall and ceiling coverings: wall paper, textiles, ornaments, ornamental mouldings and decorative plasterwork

 

• floor coverings: parquet, wooden, laminate and cork flooring, plastic flooring, carpet, lino, cleaning of carpets and floors

 

• window decoration and sun blinds: suspension systems and rods, decorative accessories, automation, curtains, made-to-measure curtains, material for curtains and sun blinds etc.

 

• equipment: innovative systems for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, chimneys and fireplaces, lighting (no non-fixed elements) and furniture (no non-fixed elements)

 

• raw materials with a quality or environmental label: wood, recycled materials, biodegradable materials, biological, natural and evironmentally friendly materials

 

• services: marketing and publicity, software & hardware, telecommunication, web services, certification and attestation bodies, insurance, automation, art-historical research, publishers & publication

PRODUCTS ARE SELECTED FOR ACCEPTANCE BY A COMMITTEE OF ARCHITECTS AND INTERIOR ARCHITECTS THAT JUDGE THE INNOVATIVE NATURE OF EACH PRODUCT. THE COMMITTEE'S DECISION IS BINDING!
